Biology Majors Fair

Biology majors, don't think we've left you out!

7th Annual Biology Majors Fair!!
When: Tuesday September 25th, 2012 10:30am-1:30pm
Where: Valley Life Sciences (VLSB) Courtyard
Details: Come meet reps from each biology major we have! (There are more than a dozen!) Learn about study abroad programs, careers you could have with a bio major, other opportunities and more!
There's also a raffle - $2K value MCAT course. And what major fair would be complete without a few workshops?

Upper class students from several of the biology majors will discuss 
their experiences with undergraduate research and how they succeeded 
at Cal.

~Beyond the BA: Graduate School and Career Center Services~
The Career Center will discuss tips and strategies to help you 
prepare for graduate school, as well provide information about their 
resources for professional  school and career planning.

Welcome to Cal, New Scholars!

We hope you had a wonderful summer and that you're excited for the adventures ahead here in Berkeley! Here is some important information that you need to know:

What: COSA orientation for new scholars
When: Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 1-3pm
Where: 170 Barrows (

Why: Meet other new Cal Opp Scholars, the staff, learn about the many events that COSA hosts, 
ask any lingering questions, and last but not least, get pumped up for the upcoming school year!

Important notes:
  • Come meet the COSA officers at 12:15pm (same day), because we'd love to introduce ourselves as well as get to know you :) More information will be provided in an email, so look out for that.
  • After the orientation, there will be a reception at the second floor of Sproul Hall.
