You do NOT need to stay the whole time! The fair will take place in the MLK Student Union ballroom. Your primary role as a co-sponsoring group would be to assist with a variety of fair duties as assigned, and to connect with employers to help make their fair experience a success!
Typical duties & important notes for student volunteers are:
*Provide first-class customer service to employers throughout the fair
*Greet and assist both students and recruiters as they arrive to the fair; escort recruiters to their assigned tables
*Scan student ID's before they enter the fair; distribute bags and maps
*Assist with setup and cleanup
*Maintain a professional look at your student organization table. This means keeping it clean and tidy. If volunteers are working the lunch shift, this means throwing food trash away after they are done.
*Student volunteers should be on time for the shifts they sign-up for to ensure first-class customer service for fair participants.
Some nice perks for your participants are:
**Your participating member volunteers will receive a tasty *FREE LUNCH** (if they work during the lunch hour) and snacks throughout the fair
**The traffic at the fair varies from year to year and depending on the time of day. There may be time for student volunteers to go talk to employers in the fair during down times.
Please sign-up through google spreadsheet! :)

COSA'S HOLIDAY BANQUET/POTLUCK!
HOLIDAY GREETINGS
from your COSA Officers!
Stressed out about the impending insanity of finals? Looking to escape from all that cram-cram-cram madness during dead week? Wanna take a break and just chill and relax, while enjoying warm, homecooked food and even warmer, welcoming company? All while embracing the true spirit of the holiday season by giving/receiving gifts and thanks to all that we are grateful for? Well look no further, for you are cordially invited to...
COSA'S HOLIDAY BANQUET/POTLUCK!
When: Thursday, December 8th, 2011, 7:00 PM
Where: 101 Wheeler
What: POTLUCK + WHITE ELEPHANT!
Why: To celebrate the end of an awesome semester, and to welcome the arrival of the holiday season :)
IMPORTANT: This is a POTLUCK, so please contribute whatever food you can! (For all ya'll freshmen, we know you got tons of leftover mealpoints. Just sayin' - sharing is caring :) But if you can't bring anything, don't worry, no one will be turned away :)
And for those of you who don't know, WHITE ELEPHANT is a game of gift exchange, where each participant who brings a gift will also receive a gift in return. It's like getting presents, but better, because there's fun games involved! So bring a gift of your choice (we suggest it to be worth ~$5), wrap it in pretty wrapping paper, and then bring it to the banquet! Disclaimer: participation is voluntary.
PLEASE remember to RSVP through email or facebook! :)
